The Alpha Phi Foundation
"Cardiac Care"

The Alpha Phi foundation, founded in 1956, was established eighty four years after the fraternity. The foundation in fact is a separate organization from the fraternity and has its own officers, staff, and board of directors.  the foundation was seen then as it is now as being necessary to plan for the fraternity of tomorrow. The fraternity and the foundation work hand in hand.

The mission of the foundation is to encourage the highest ideals of womanhood and service, to serve the educational mission of Alpha Phi and be the premier philanthropy for the causes of women.

To those ends the Alpha Phi foundation supports educational and leadership programs, offers scholarships, assists women in crisis, recognizes outstanding cardiac care and research programs supports community organizations and awards outstanding college professors.

The foundation is able to continue its program through the voluntary contributions from Alpha Phi members and chapters, friends of Alpha Phi and matching gifts from donor employers.
